TALENTED musicians from a Worcester school took centre stage in a revived contest.
The Rotary Club of Worcester brought back its Young Musician Competition after a gap of many years.
Six talented young musicians, a cellist, a pianist and four singers who all attend Tudor Grange Academy, showcased their abilities in front of three judges from outside the school.
The winner was cellist Patryk Bellgrau with singer Sarah Ettridge finishing second and pianist Ewan Fisher not far behind in third place.
Patryk and Sarah now go through to the district final on Saturday, March 2 up against young musicians from Bristol, Cheltenham and Chipping Camden, Gloucestershire.
The competition took place at Tudor Grange, Bilford Road, with Frankie Saunders, Molly Dowler and Iga Yanik also going for honours.
