House fans have got the chance to vote for their favourite tune to be performed live by a 32-piece orchestra in front of thousands.

Classic Ibiza has invited its 55,000 Instagram followers to pitch in for the selection of five house music anthems to be added to this summer's setlist at its Ragley Hall event on Saturday, July 6.

Classic Ibiza's Lisa Ward said: "Choosing the tracks to be reinvented and performed live by Stephen Hussey’s Urban Soul Orchestra every summer is one of the highlights of organising Classic Ibiza.

"We just love sharing the fun with our amazing Ragley audience."

The audience's favourite tracks are going to be shortlisted and put up for vote on Good Friday, March 29.

The final round of voting will end on Easter Monday, March 31, and the top five crowd favourites will be announced on Monday, April 8.

Last year, over 5,000 votes were cast, resulting in the addition of these classics to the setlist: Silence (Delerium, Tiësto, Sarah McLachlan), King of My Castle (Wamdue Project, Roy Malone), Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now) (C&C Music Factory), On a Ragga Tip (SL2) and Need You (100%) (Duke Dumont, A*M*E).

Ms Ward added: "We’re especially looking for big tunes that will suit that special orchestral treatment.

"Think strings, horns, keys and of course infectious beats and vocals.

"And don’t worry, Insomnia and Born Slippy are pretty much a permanent fixture of our set every year, so please don’t waste your vote."

The event will kick off at 5:30pm with an atmosphere emulating an Ibiza beachside bars, which will slowly build into an open-air nightclub ambiance by 11pm.

Top billing for the evening is the Urban Soul Orchestra, famous for its collaborations with dance music talents like Groove Armada, Robert Miles and Nightmares On Wax.

Alongside DJ Goldierocks, they will delve into house music's rich history, revamping iconic tracks from the past three decades.

Demand for tickets is high, with the hall already 70 per cent full.
