Music festival dates


A HUGE programme of events has been put together for the annual Droitwich Spa Music and Arts Festival.

This is the fifth year that For Droitwich Spa has organised a festival for the town. This summer's popular showcase will include music performances and an array of other events for residents and visitors to enjoy.

The festival will run from Friday, July 4, to July 18 and printed programmes will be distributed to shops in the High Street, the library and stores at St Andrew's Square shopping centre. It will offer two weeks of music and events for all tastes.

This year's programme includes classical, jazz, folk, pop, show tunes, brass and drama events.

The festival kicks off on Friday, July 4, with an American Independence Day theme. American car displays will take place in Victoria Square with an American music organ recital from 12noon.
