More than 60 ramblers met for the first time since lockdown in Droitwich.
Worcestershire Ramblers were out in force at their annual general meeting (AGM) at the Gaudet Luce Golf Club.
The team consist of five local groups across the county: Wyre Forest, Evesham, Worcester, Bromsgrove and Redditch.
Joining Britain’s largest walking community gives people who love walking access to all-year-round support, advice and inspiration – online, via social media and through a quarterly magazine.
“It was great to meet up with so many friends after such a long absence,” said one rambler.
One Droitwich resident added: “It’s a great advert for the town to see so many people of varying ages walking on route to the Droitwich canal.
“It’s nice to know that people feel it’s a good place to enjoy a ramble.”
The meeting took place last Saturday (February 11).
If you are thinking about improving your overall fitness and mental health, then you could be part of a local group.
