FLOOD prevention measures are set to be carried out following a public meeting to highlight trouble spots in the town.
Representatives from Wychavon District Council, the Environment Agency and the Spa Housing Association met town mayor Richard Morris to discuss steps to prevent a repeat of last year's flood problems.
“I am happy we now have an effective partnership to focus on Droitwich and ensure actions are carried out and I thank all those who attended and are working on solutions."

The meeting was a follow-up gathering after issues were originally highlighted at a meeting in March.
Issues raised at the March meeting included grease deposits in the High Street sewers, the height of the bund at the back of Hunters Way, rubbish in the River Salwarpe and the possibility of an early flood warning system, particularly for Hunters Way and Vines Lane.
It was confirmed at last week's meeting that Severn Trent now know, after investigation, what has caused the grease deposits and will be taking this up with those concerned.
The Environment Agency reported that it would be practical to raise the bund at Hunters Way, but they need to do a technical study to check how water flows through the estate.
The agency also announced plans to trawl the River Salwarpe and Elmbridge Brook to clear debris in two months time.
"I am happy we now have an effective partnership to focus on Droitwich and ensure actions are carried out and I thank all those who attended and are working on solutions. It is a partnership of all involved," said the mayor.
"Future updates on actions will be made to the town clerk for onward communication. I will monitor progress and physical action," added Cllr Morris.
