THE final nominations are now in for this weekend's Pride of Droitwich Spa Awards.
The event, which will be held in the Community Hall, Heritage Way, will run between 2 and 3pm this Saturday so it will coincide with the town's annual Salt Day celebrations.
All those nominated will receive recognition at the event, which is being sponsored by the Droitwich Spa Advertiser.
Winners will be selected by the Pride of Droitwich Spa sub-committee and will receive £100 in vouchers for topping their category.
The nominations for the Webbs Local Hero award are: Darryl Bradford; Kathleen Houghton; Geoff Briscoe and Denise Keay.
For the Waitrose Community Champion the nominations are: Sue Poyer; Marjorie Coxon; Dennis Pike; Colin Hoare; The Davies family; John Cox; Sergeant Mark Smith; Peggy Poutney; Frank Holliday; David Padget; Mr and Mrs Monty Wild; Gordon Mellor; Michael Crump; Eunice Williams; Keith Hobson and June Sankey. Nominations for the Droitwich Garage Sporting Champion are Jack Coulter and Droitwich Dolphins Speedo Team.
The Wilkinson Junior Category nominations are Claire Brown; Rachel Antrobus; Daniel Postans and Sammy Spencer.
