A LORRY has crashed into level crossing barriers in Cradley Heath leading to delays for commuters across the Black Country and into north Worcestershire.
Just before 1pm, West Midlands Railway confirmed trains between Rowley Regis and Stourbridge Junction were hit with cancellations and delays due to the lines getting blocked by a ‘road vehicle’.
A member of the public said on social media that the damaged barrier was caused by a lorry, close to Cradley Heath Railway Station.
Affected passengers were also offered a replacement bus services between Worcester and Stourbridge to complete their journeys.
However, the vehicle has since been removed and some of the services are back up and running, but delays are still expected.
