Instead, some heavy outbreaks of rain and sleet will clear to the east this morning.
It will then be largely dry and bright, with a few showers likely through the afternoon and a maximum temperature of 9°C.
Tonight it will become dry, with clear spells developing.
The wind will be light, and there will be the risk of patchy frost and fog overnight, and a minimum temperature of -1°C.
