Weather: Yellow fog warning across the region this morning, but brighter spells in the afternoon

The fog will be slow to clear, so be careful if you are on the roads, and in some places it will linger into the afternoon.

The Met Office has put the fog warning in place until 11pm and advised drivers to exercise caution during the weather warning period.

But where the fog does clear, it will be a dry day with bright spells and a maximum temperature of 6°C.
