A FUN child friendly harvest service will take place for a vicar's final service.

Reverend Bev Jameson will have her final service at St Andrew's Church on Sunday September 24 at 3pm.

She will be leaving Droitwich to be rector of St Mary the Virgin in Lymm, Cheshire.

The church are asking for donations of dry and tinned goods to be given to Droitwich foodbank.

There will be crafts and games in an informal lively service open to everyone of any age, with children very much in mind.

There is also a party afterwards with Prosecco, tea coffee and cake in the parish centre to wish Rev Jameson goodbye.

Rev Jameson said: “Harvest is such a wonderful service and it will be very special to me as it will be may last service in the parish with people I love very much. ”
