GOOD morning. We are here to provide any information on incidents that might crop up throughout the rush hour period this morning on our Black Country and North Worcestershire roads.

So far the roads across the area are pretty quiet, but there is heavy traffic in Amblecote on A491 High Street southbound before Stourbridge ring road and in Pensnett High Street near High Oak.

Traffic is also heavy on A4123 Wolverhampton Road southbound in Oldbury at A4034 Churchbridge (Birchley Island) and in Dudley at the Burnt Tree Traffic Lights.

There are also areas of planned roadworks which are causing delays, including:

Speed restriction of 30 mph and one lane closed due to major roadworks and contraflow on M5 both ways between J1 (West Bromwich / Birmingham) and J2 (Oldbury). Work on the Oldbury Viaduct means that all traffic is sharing one side of the road as a contraflow.

There are also speed restriction of 20 mph in Pensnett due to roadworks and temporary traffic lights on A4101 High Street at High Oak.

Water main work and temporary traffic lights are in place in Romsley on Bromsgrove Road at St Kenelm's Road, while gas main work and temporary traffic lights are set to cause disruption on B4549 Sutton Park Road at Whitehill Road.

There are roadworks and temporary traffic lights in Stourport on B4193 Hartlebury Road at Wilden Lane and telecoms work and temporary traffic lights are in place in Barnt Green on Bittell Road at Fiery Hill Road.

In Hopwood, one lane is closed due to gas main work and there are also temporary traffic lights on A441 Birmingham Road both ways between Redditch Road and Lea End Lane.

One lane is also closed in Dudley on the A4123 New Birmingham Road between the Burnt Tree Traffic Lights and Trafalgar Road due to resurfacing work.
