A COLD snap will be in the air today as cloud also thickens to bring rain.
It will be a cold, frosty and bright start today (Thursday, April 27) for some across the Black Country and North Worcestershire, especially in the south.
However, cloud will thicken bringing outbreaks of mainly light and patchy rain as the day goes on.
Brighter spells are possible later and with lighter winds it will feel milder, with a maximum temperature of 12 °C.
Expect the showery rain to continue overnight at first before easing through the early hours to give some clear spells, although there should be enough cloud to prevent a frost.
We’ll also have a minimum temperature of around 4 °C on the night.
