There’s a few issues on the roads this morning (April 13) across the Black Country and North Worcestershire, including: 

A car has burst into flames on the M5 southbound near Bromsgrove.

The incident took place at around 6.42am and closed one lane on the M5 southbound between J4 A38 (Bromsgrove / Stourbridge) and J4A M42.

The car was on the hard shoulder and one lane one was closed to keep traffic away from the flames, leading to delays. All lane are now open.

In Stourport, Kingsway is closed both ways due to water main work between A451 Minster Road and Burlish Top Nature Reserve with temporary lights on the diversion route.

Roadworks and temporary traffic lights also continue along Burlish Crossing, Windermere Way, and Great Western Way.

Towards Stourbridge, Ridge Road in Kingswinford is closed both ways due to gas main work between Cot Lane and Kingsley Road.
