A MAN has appeared in court charged with assaulting two women and racially aggravated harassment.
Andrew Powell, of Cranham Drive, Warndon, Worcester, had previously pleaded not guilty to assaulting Lisa Evans on July 28.
The 43-year-old is also alleged to have beaten Helen Maruska on the same date, and pleaded not guilty to that charge when he appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court today (Friday).
Powell also denies using threatening or abusive words or behaviour, within the hearing or sight of a person likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
Magistrates adjourned the case for a trial which will be held at Worcester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, October 25.
Powell was bailed on the conditions he does not have any contact with Lisa Evans, Helen Maruska, Jan Maruska or Shamryz Usaf, and does not enter Birch Avenue.
