A WOMAN kicked by a horse in Worcestershire this afternoon has been airlifted to hospital.
Ambulance staff gave trauma care at the incident in Wolverley, after a call to West Midlands Ambulance Service at around 1.30pm.
A community paramedic and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham attended.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "The 27-year-old woman sustained severe pain in her hip and leg.
"She was given advanced analgesia and trauma care on scene to help stabilise her condition.
"Once immobilised with the use of a neck collar, spinal board and pelvic splint, the woman was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.”
