A popular BBC One antiques programme was filmed at Croome Court last week with hundreds of visitors.

On Thursday May 26, Flog It came to Croome to film four episodes which will be aired this winter and next spring.

It regularly achieves an audience of over two million viewers and is now on its 15th season.

“We have had some wonderful items brought along today, and items that are of real quality,” said Paul Martin, presenter of Flog It!. “We love coming out to places like this, they are so beautiful and it’s thanks to the 6th Earl of Coventry that we are here today. Learning about this incredible man and the cutting edge designers he employed at Croome has been a really interesting part of the event. What a place he created!”

“We have had an absolute fantastic day and we have had a wonderful time with the BBC Flog It! crew welcoming all of our guests to Croome for the show,” said Amy Forster-Smith, Croome’s House & Visitor Experience Manager. “It’s always very exciting having a film crew here, but this the biggest filming event we have experienced. We’re really looking forward to seeing Croome on BBC1 later this year.”
