A NEW lease of life has been breathed into the café at Droitwich Leisure Centre as part of wider refurbishment works.

The Café at Rivers has reopened following an extensive revamp to make the space a relaxing place to visit after using the sports facilities.

Freshly plastered and painted lime green and cream to match the new seating, the café also has a newly-designed floor to ceiling decorative wall feature.

The ceiling has been upgraded with new tiling and led lighting, a new Rivers sign and Rivers window graphic is in place, Altro safety flooring has been laid and the new oak doors complete the redesign.

Open six days a week, the café has a range of food available and a cosy corner, complete with a comfy sofa.

A new wall has been constructed too, so customers can sit in the pool view café without disruption as the new Health Suite is constructed.

The café refurbishment is just one phase of the development plans for the Leisure Centre, with several other areas of the building set to be transformed in the coming year.
