GREAT British Bake Off 2015 champion Nadiya Jamir Hussain said winning the contest made her feel like “a giant” – despite her small stature.

The stay-at-home mum walked out of the Bake Off tent “a much stronger, confident person” after being crowned winner of series six, beating Ian Cumming and Tamal Ray in the final.

She said: “I went into the tent as the smallest baker at 4 ft 11 in but I walked out feeling a giant.”

The baker, who has become a social media sensation, said she hoped people would remember her baking abilities.

The 30-year-old from Leeds said: “I really hope that I have not become known more for my facial expressions or my eyebrows than my baking!

Renee Zellweger was back in character as Bridget and sporting a large prosthetic bump for scenes in the upcoming movie Bridget Jones’s Baby.

Zellweger wrapped up warm in a fluffy blue coat, striped top, blue jeans and black boots on set outside Sainsbury’s supermarket in Woolwich, south London.

The store’s famous orange bag hung heavy in her hand as she reprised her eponymous character for Bridget Jones’s Baby, the third instalment of the franchise, 14 years after the first was released.

Feminist protesters hit the red carpet tonight alongside stars of the film Suffragette at the opening night of the BFI London Film Festival.

Scenes from real life mirrored those in the drama, starring Carey Mulligan, Meryl Streep and Anne-Marie Duff, as groups of women from Sisters Uncut, wearing tops with posters stuck on saying “Two women killed every week” and “Dead women can’t vote”, jumped the barriers and laid on the carpet while actresses Helena Bonham Carter, Anne-Marie Duff and Romola Garai carried out interviews.

“We are suffragettes,” they shouted. “Domestic violence cuts kill.”

Hollywood action legend and former Mr Universe Arnold Schwarzenegger is heading to Birmingham for an exclusive black tie dinner event.

Olexy Productions is hosting the event, An Experience with…Arnold Schwarzenegger, which will take place at the ICC on Thursday January 21.

The Terminator star will be taking part in a live on-stage interview during which he'll discuss his meteoric rise to become one of Hollywood's greatest action stars from humble beginnings flexing his muscles on Britain's bodybuilding circuit.
