AN explosion at a Rowley Regis flat caused a fire that saw two men injured and 20 people evacuated.
The men managed to flee the Oldbury Road flat after the blaze broke out at 10.10pm last night (Tuesday) and were detained by police officers outside.
They were taken to hospital with minor injuries and will be questioned about what happened when they are fit to do so.
No one else is believed to have been injured but structural damage was caused to the property and 20 residents from nearby homes were evacuated for the night as a precaution.
An investigation is now under way to find out what caused the explosion.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
