VISITORS to the Jinney Ring Craft Centre in Hanbury have one more week to see a trail of artistic sculptures before it closes on Sunday, October 4.

This is the 10th year the popular sculpture trail has been running at the centre with works by artists from around the country in different mediums covering a wide range of subject matters.

Amongst the sculptors involved is Worcestershire artist Ed Elliot, who creates figurative work carved from tree trunks, and local artist Alison Hastie, a self-taught sculptor who creates animal and human figures from twisted willow, which she grows herself. Alison has a sculpture of a woman and child on display in the trail, which recently featured in a ‘gold’ winning garden at Gardening Scotland 2015 earlier this year.
