TWO businesses in Droitwich Spa are teaming up to host a Macmillan Coffee Morning later this month.

Ormerod Rutter Chartered Accountants are working with St Andrew’s Town Hotel in the town centre to stage a small business surgery and networking event in aid of the charity, so business owners can take advantage of the opportunity to network, while enjoying a slice of cake and a coffee.

Three senior partners from Ormerod Rutter, partner Alex Dyer, tax partner David Gillies and private client manager Anthony Middleton, will be on site throughout the morning on September 25 to offer consultations, giving out advice and support on a range of issues related to running a small business, including help with tax returns.

Mr Dyer said: “We’re always looking for opportunities to help the local business community and by hosting this event we can also raise money for an excellent cause.”

Staff at Ormerod Rutter’s offices in Droitwich will also be holding their own coffee morning and a ‘bake off’ challenge to raise money for Macmillan.

The coffee morning and networking event will be taking place at St Andrew’s Town Hotel from 9am to noon, and people can book 20 minute consultation slots in advance by writing to sianconway@ormerodrutter.co.uk.
