WEBBS Garden Centre in Wychbold is encouraging people to have a clear out at the end of the summer break, to help raise money for St Richard’s Hospice.

People are invited to bring any unwanted items along to the centre on Thursday, September 10 for a Donate, Don’t Dump Day.

Between 10am and 5pm there will be a collection area in the Webbs car park, and people are invited to bring along at least one good quality item they no longer want or need.

All of the donations will be delivered to St Richard’s commercial department where they will be sorted, before being sent out to the charity’s shops in the region to sell.

St Richard’s Hospice commercial director Dan Corns, said: “Webbs staff and customers have been long-standing supporters of our care for patients and families living with life-threatening illnesses. By donating pre-loved goods for us to sell in our shops they are making a very real impact on the care we can provide.”

Webbs chairman Ed Webb, added: “Our ‘Donate, Don't Dump Days' are very popular and are an easy way for people to support a fantastic local charity which helps so many people in our community.”
