FOUR-legged friends along with birds, fish and bugs are all being invited to come along to a special church service being held at St Michael’s Church in Salwarpe this Sunday.
The Service of Thanksgiving for All Creatures Great and Small is inviting people from the local community along with their pets or a photograph of their pets to come and give thanks to God for animals.
The Rev Beverley Jameson, team vicar for Droitwich Spa, Salwarpe, and Hindlip with Martin Hussingtree, said: “It will be wonderful mayhem, please come along and if your pet is too timid, as my cat is, to be surrounded by so many wonderful animals, then bring a photo of them to church.”
