GOOD morning. The weekend is nearly here and many of you will have that Friday feeling. To ensure your good mood isn’t ruined by the morning commute, we are bringing you the latest traffic and travel news to help you plan your journey.
The roads are looking pretty clear at the moment apart from a broken down vehicle blocking one lane of the M6 southbound between J10 and J9 (Wednesbury) and Lifford Lane in King’s Norton being closed due to a gas leak.
But there are ongoing roadworks around the Black Country and North Worcestershire that could cause delays as we head into rush hour.
Bromsgrove Highway in Redditch is closed at the Warwick Highway junction due to roadworks and one lane remains closed on Kidderminster Road, Haley at the Stourbridge Road junction as a convoy system is in place.
Delays can also be expected in Hanbury Road, Droitwich at the junction with The Holloway and Stallings Lane, Kingswinford between the junctions of Charterfield Drive and Second Avenue, due to temporary traffic lights.
