AFTER a very hot day yesterday the forecast today is much of the same, if not even warmer, across most parts of the Black Country and North Worcestershire.

From being clear overnight it will stay fine with sunny periods after a warm start to the day. Temperatures will be at highs of around 28.5°C.

Despite this, there is a continued risk of very isolated thunderstorms developing and will turn even hotter and feel very muggy.

The temperatures would not be cooled by the south easterly winds of about 13mph with temperatures increasing into the afternoon to reach highs of around the 31°C mark.

The dry conditions will continue overnight clear skies throughout the area and after a very hot day, temperatures will only cool off slightly, staying warm and muggy, with minimum temperatures for this evening around 16°C.

There is a threat of showers pushing up from the southwest towards dawn.

For those like myself who are currently quite badly suffering from hayfever, the pollen count is high today and it only forecasted to get higher through the weekend.
