THERE don’t appear to be any major incidents affecting traffic flow on the roads across the Black Country and north Worcestershire this evening, we’re pleased to report.

Roadworks and temporary traffic lights, however, are continuing to cause delays on the A491 Hagley Road at Hagley, near Kinver Drive.

The High Street in Belbroughton remains closed both ways due to water main work at Nash Lane, which is expecting to continue until June 18.

There are narrow lanes and a speed restriction of 40mph on the M5 in Worcestershire - both ways at J4 A38 (Lydiate Ash)- while work to improve the junction and traffic movements continues around the island.

The roadworks also mean the road is closed each night from 9pm until July 31.

On the A456 at Halesowen there’s slow traffic westbound between M5 J3 (Halesowen / Birmingham) and A459 Grange Road / B4551 Grange Hill.

There is also slow traffic on the A456 Birmingham Road, Blakedown, eastbound between the B4188 Belbroughton Road and A450 Worcester Road, and on the A456 Birmingham Road, at Kidderminster, outbound between A451 The Ringway / Coventry Street and A449 Chester Road North (Land Oak traffic lights).

On the A449 Chester Road North, Kidderminster, traffic is busy but moving between the A456 Birmingham Road (Land Oak traffic lights) and A451 Stourbridge Road (Rose Theatre mini roundabout).
