It’s nearly clocking off time for you nine-to-fivers so hopefully our traffic update will help you plan your journeys home so you can avoid the congestion.
First incident to tell you about is an accident on the B4176 Himley Road in Himley. The road is partially blocked in both directions between the A449 Stourbridge Road and the High Arcal Road junctions.
An accident has also resulted in one lane being closed on the M42 southbound between J2, A441 at Alvechurch and J1, A38 in Bromsgrove. Traffic is heavy in this area.
Other than those, there are a few congestion hot spots and traffic delays due to ongoing road works that you may wish to avoid. These include: *A451 Stourbridge Road in Kidderminster at the Rose Theatre mini roundabout. Temporary traffic lights causing problems there.
*B4090 Hanbury Road in Droitwich Spa at The Holloway junction. Road works are ongoing and temporary traffic lights are in operation.
*A450 Stourbridge Road in Broome, at the Broome Lane junction. Again, temporary traffic lights causing delays.
