STAFF, pupils, parents and friends from Dodderhill School in Droitwich Spa, have raised nearly £5,000 for Cancer Research after holding their own Race for Life.
Approximately 300 women and girls from two-year-olds to grandparents dressed in pink and took part in the run, choosing between a course which led around the school’s tennis courts, for the children from the nursery, while kindergarten children completed a lap of the field, and the older runners completed a full 5km course taking in the school premises and some of the rest of Droitwich.
Dodderhill School headteacher, Cate Mawston, said: “We are pleased to support such a worthy cause and are proud of the fantastic total raised by all of our girls, staff, friends and family.”
