POLICE have released a new photo of a "vulnerable" elderly man who has gone missing from Upton.
Ernest Upward, known as Michael, was reported missing yesterday (Friday, April 17).
He was last seen at 9.30am when he went to sit in the garden of a home he was staying at in Holly Green, but has not been seen since.
The police helicopter was scrambled yesterday afternoon in an effort to find him.
Mr Upward, aged 82, has dementia, so West Mercia Police said he is considered vulnerable and they are keen to trace him as soon as possible.
He is 6ft tall, of medium build with grey hair. At the time he went missing Mr Upward was wearing glasses, a brown tweed jacket and brown trousers.
Anyone who thinks they may have seen Mr Upward is urged to call police on 101, quoting incident number 240 of April 17.
