This Friday sees the return of movie star Warwick Davis to TV screens as he and his family stop off at Dudley’s Black Country Living Museum as part of their Weekend Escapes series.

The Return of the Jedi and Willow star visited the Tipton Road museum last August to film scenes for the show which follows the actor and his family as they travel around the UK in their trusty camper van to discover the best of Great Britain.

A 32-year-old Rowley Regis man arrested in Kingswinford accused of the brutal murder of a Birmingham father will now plead to the charge on May 29.

Stuart Millership, of Beeches Road, was expected to make a plea when he appeared before Judge John Warner at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

But Miss Lynette McClement defending told the court they needed more information before the case could go to a plea hearing.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a fatal crash near Wythall.

The incident happened on the A435 at 1.20am on Tuesday, April 14, near to the Horse and Jockey pub in Inkford.

A red Audi A3 was travelling southbound when it left the road, went down an embankment and collided with trees and shrubbery.

Police in Droitwich are appealing for information after thieves stole a number of hanging baskets and garden pots from outside a property in Meadow Way.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: “The theft which occurred overnight on Friday, April 10 has left the owner angry and concerned that someone has walked up the garden path and close to the property itself taking not only hanging baskets but freshly planted pots as well."
