POLICE in Droitwich are appealing for information after thieves stole a number of hanging baskets and garden pots from outside a property in Meadow Way.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: “The theft which occurred overnight on Friday, April 10 has left the owner angry and concerned that someone has walked up the garden path and close to the property itself taking not only hanging baskets but freshly planted pots as well.
“Securing such items is extremely difficult and whilst we don't want to advise residents against having any baskets or pots outside the front of their property, we would like to remind them that items left in an insecure location can be quite vulnerable.”
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact PCSO Andrea Leslie in the Droitwich West Safer Neighbourhood Team on the non-emergency number 101, or by writing to droitwichwest.snt@westmercia.pnn.police.uk.
