The thieves wreaked havoc as they broke into the four buildings but netted just £100.

A new image shows how a derelict Dudley town site could look after a major revamp.

Proposals by Avenbury Developments to regenerate the Birmingham Street entrance to the Churchill precinct, as part of a project called Porter’s Field, have been under discussion with Dudley Council for 18 months.

The proposal includes redeveloping the shabby Cavendish House site and building a mix of housing, leisure and retail premises.

Police are hunting a taxi driver after a hit-and-run crash in Rowley Regis.

A 21-year-old motorcyclist was rushed to hospital with a broken leg after the crash on Springfield Lane, just before 5am on Saturday April 4.

Sgt Dean Booth, of Sandwell Police, hopes to track down the taxi driver.

Shocking new figures have revealed Redditch is in the top 20 per cent of constituencies in Great Britain for demand for debt advice.

National Debtline received 709 calls from Redditch people in 2013 and 2014, compared to 556 for Worcester, 435 for Bromsgrove, and just 295 for West Worcestershire.
