THE Droitwich branch of Morrison’s supermarket has received a £500,000 make-over to improve the butchers, bakers, fishmonger, deli and greengrocer sections.

The work, which took five days to complete, also saw several other departments being introduced or extended including a new beers, wines and spirits section, a new health and beauty section, a refreshed ‘free from’ section for people with food allergies and intolerances, and the extension of the clothing section.

Store general manager Sean Doyle, said: “We have made a significant investment and introduced some exciting new counters and ranges. We hope that customers will agree that the improvements have transformed our store. We expect it will result in a fuller, easier and more pleasant shop for Droitwich Spa’s customers.”

The shop also gave it’s in-store music a bit of a change, adding 9,000 new songs to the music playing in the shop.
