TWO Droitwich businesses have won the chance to join 10 selected from across the entire county to showcase their products and services to hundreds of potential customers, as part of a Business Expo event in Malvern.

The two businesses Bubblicious Soaps, and The Very Good Translation Company, have both won a free stand at the show, as well as £250 in marketing support.

The competition, which was organised through the Enterprising Worcestershire programme, run by Worcestershire.Business.Central the region’s growth hub.

The two Droitwich companies will join other businesses from Worcester, Kidderminster, Evesham and Alvechurch to take part in the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce event, at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern.

The event is a showcase for start-up companies to give them the ideal audience to help raise their profile with an estimated 800 visitors.

Councillor Simon Geraghty, Worcestershire County Council cabinet member for economy, skills and infrastructure, said: “The Business Expo is the ideal platform for start-up businesses and growing companies to speak to a wider audience; the £250 can be used to either buy marketing materials, pay for media relations or for a social media audit – all important tools to help a business develop and succeed.”

The Enterprising Worcestershire programme is open to anyone who lives in Worcestershire and is considering starting a business, or trying to grow their business. For more information contact the Worcestershire.Business.Central team by writing to info@business-central.co.uk or call 0300 1231440.
