DROITWICH Concert Club is welcoming piano duo Emma Abbate and Julian Perkins on Saturday, February 21 for a programme of well known and less familiar works for two pianos.
Emma studied in Naples, Rome and London and is a professor at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, while Julian performs as a soloist, chamber musician and conductor, and also teaches harpsichord and vocal studies at the Royal Northern College of Music.
The two are planning to perform Mozart’s Sonata in D KV123a, Bach’s Sonata in A Opus 18 No.5, two of Dvorak’s Slavonic Dances, an early work by Wagner, and Schubert’s Fantasia Opus 103 D940.
The concert will be taking place at Droitwich Methodist Church from 3pm. Tickets are £15 for adults and £5 for under 17s, and can be purchased on the door, or booked in advance by calling 01905 779736. The performance is open to members and non-members.
