PEOPLE in Droitwich and Bromsgrove who are struggling to modernise or improve their homes as their lives change, are being invited to take advantage of free events in both towns giving advice.

The ‘Living Safely and Well at Home’ events, will provide advice and information for people who might need to adapt their home or make vital repairs or modernisations, but don’t know where to start. They can help with information on heating, fire safety, fall prevention, disabled facilities, housing options, and charities and support agencies, which might be able to provide financial assistance.

The events are being organised through Care and Repair Worcestershire, a not for profit arm of Fortis Living, which works with six local councils, as well as the occupational therapy teams, and various charities and support agencies.

The events are taking place from 9.30am to 12.00pm, on Monday February 23 at Spa Medical Practice in Droitwich Spa, and on Wednesday, February 25 at Princess of Wales Community Hospital in Bromsgrove, and Salters Medical Practice in Droitwich Spa.
