DROITWICH History and Archaeology Society is hosting a talk on the Fincher family of Himbleton by one of their descendants Paul Jones.

Mr Jones, who holds a Licentiateship of The Royal Photographic Society (LRPS), is a local historian, author and photographer.

He collaborated recently on the publication ‘Droitwich Through Time, collecting together images from around the town to compare how different scenes have altered over the last 100 years.

For this illustrated talk he has researched one branch of his family tree in depth, painting a detailed picture of local life in times gone by around Worcester, Droitwich and the surrounding area in the process.

The talk will be taking place on Wednesday, February 4 from 7.30pm in the John Corbett Room of Droitwich Community Hall.

Entry is £2 for Society members, and £4 for friends and visitors.
