STAFF at the Harvester pub on Worcester Road in Droitwich joined in with Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day on Friday and Saturday last week, donning their knitted creations despite the heat of the restaurant to raise some cash.
More than 600 people passed through the door over the two days taking part in a range of competitions including guessing the name of a giant teddy bear behind the bar, guessing a motif on a Christmas jumper, and designing their own Christmas jumpers in a colouring competition where the winner will have the chance to visit Santa at Webbs this weekend.
They are still counting up their funds but expect to have raised several hundred pounds.
