AFTER a discussion from young people at Droitwich Action for Future Youth (DAFFY) one youth worker volunteered to have her hair cut to raise money for Acorns Children’s Hospice.
Fran Dignan volunteered to have her hair cut by trainee hairdresser Mary Oliver if the young people donated money to the charity.
Sarah Page, youth coordinator, said: "It was a great to see young people using their skills and knowledge and to raise £49.45 for a charity adds the icing to the cake. It one of the most bravest actions I have seen a youth worker do too. They should be very proud."
Ms Dignan added: "I'm very impressed with my haircut, Mary did an excellent job, she should be very proud of herself.”
Youth worker Anthony Rooney also had this eyebrows plucked by another youth group member for the charity.
