MEMBERS of the Droitwich branch of the Sugarcraft Guild have been busy baking and icing Christmas cakes to raise money for St Richard’s Hospice.

The Guild members produced 30 cakes between them, which will be sold, auctioned and raffled off to raise fund for the hospice.

Sarah Patrick, St Richard’s fundraising assistant, said: “These cakes are lovingly crafted, each one is unique and truly beautiful. They almost look too good to eat. We are so grateful to the ladies for donating their time and energy in this way.

Ann Newton from the group, added: “We really enjoyed creating these cakes for the hospice. Our ladies have come up with a wide variety of designs to suit all tastes. It’s an annual labour of love and we are delighted to see them generating money for a wonderful cause.”
