Stranded man rescued from ford
A STRANDED man had to be rescued from Shell Ford near Droitwich.
The town's Water Rescue Team and a second crew from Worcester were at the scene on Friday afternoon after the man was stuck in his van after driving into the ford.
A fire service spokesperson said the driver "didn't realise [the water] was that deep" and got stuck.
The man was rescued by 5.28pm.
