CHARITIES and businesses in Droitwich will be able to take advantage of a workshop being organised to help improve their web presence.
The free workshop is being organised by Google employee, Nigel Huddleston, who is being put forward to take over from Sir Peter Luff as the prospective parliamentary candidate for the Conservatives in Droitwich.
He said: “When I was selected as the candidate for mid Worcestershire I said I wanted to leverage my experience in business and the internet to help the local community - and running these workshops seems a great way to do this.
“The workshops are explicitly not political events and anyone interested in the internet or involved in business or charities in the Worcestershire area is welcome to attend. While obviously I will be using my knowledge of Google at the sessions, the workshops will not just focus on Google products but will cover overall digital trends in the UK as well as interesting new features available in online maps, with videos and social media in general."
The workshop is being held at St Andrew’s Town Hotel in Droitwich on Saturday, November 22. Anyone interested in attending, should contact Mr Huddleston on 01905 780607 or write to nigel.huddleston@gmail.com.
