WESTMEAD Day Care Centre in Droitwich is throwing open its doors on Wednesday, October 8 for a Harvest themed open day.

The centre, which runs morning and afternoon sessions for people to come along and make friends, or take up a new hobby, is organising a morning of chutney and pickle making, before serving up lunch for visitors, followed by a Harvest Festival with local church groups in the afternoon.

Jacqui Brown, the centre’s manager, said: “The team and clients here absolutely love to welcome people from the local community along to spend time with us and enjoy activities, so we are really looking forward to seeing some new and familiar faces at our open day.”

Anyone is welcome to come along for the open day at the centre, which is next to Westmead Care Home on Westmead Close. The centre also offers a transport service for anyone wishing to come along. For more information, call 01905 775769.
