CAT lovers in Droitwich will have the opportunity to find a new feline friend this weekend, as the Worcester and Mid-Worcestershire branch of the RSPCA is holding a cat re-homing day.

The day is taking place at the RSPCA’s base in Teme Acre Cattery in Old Powick Bridge, St Johns, and all the cats in need of a home have been given medical checks as well as having been neutered, vaccinated and identity microchipped.

A spokesman from the centre said: “We desperately need to re-home some cats as we are currently running at full capacity and have no spaces available to take in any more until some get new homes. Please come along and see if you could give one of our cats a loving home.”

People can head over to the centre at any time between 11.30am and 2pm on Sunday, September 14, and have a chat with the staff about some of the cats in need of a new home to find the perfect match.
