A HOMELESS Droitwich man has been issued with a Criminal Anti Social Behaviour Order (CRASBO) following a spate of offences in the town.

Jack Rowley was issued with the two-year order at Worcester Magistrates Court on Friday, August 22 following a conviction on Friday, July 25 for possessing an air gun in a public place.

The order states the 21-year-old must not use foul, abusive, threatening, intimidating or disorderly words or behaviour within the sight or hearing of anyone not in the same household or be in possession of any imitation or replica firearm or any air weapon or BB gun in public.

He is also banned from banging on doors or windows of houses or throwing objects when it is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress or punching, kicking or hitting any motorised vehicle.

West Mercia Police Inspector Janet Heritage said Rowley had a history of violence and anti-social behaviour.

“A total of 36 incidents have been recorded between June 2006 and July 2014,” she said.

“Some of these were dealt with criminally but the majority were incidents of anti-social behaviour.

“Due to his persistant behaviour this CRASBO was deemed necessary in order to try and prevent further acts of anti-social behaviour and for him to mend his ways.

“This type of behaviour will not be tolerated and we will continue to take positive action to prevent people becoming victims of anti-social behaviour."
