A WHOLE host of community art is going to be on offer this weekend as part of the Salt Fest celebrations.

Droitwich Spa High School students have been taking photographs over the summer break, along a theme of ‘The Street’, and Brown & Fincher the home entertainment showroom on High Street is providing a large screen TV in St Andrew’s Church on Saturday, September 13, which will be displaying the images they’ve created as part of Salt Fest.

Several of the images may also make it into the mayor’s annual calendar later in the year, raising money for various local charities.

Droitwich Arts Network (DAN) is also hosting a ‘Paint a Masterpiece in Five Minutes’ competition outside St andrew’s Church, where adults and children will be able to take part, competing for prizes which will be awarded by the mayor on Saturday, September 13 at 3.30pm.

The Norbury Theatre has kindly contributed two tickets for its opening night of Scrooge the Musical as the prize for the most artistic adults.
