KEEN gardeners can get a glimpse into a charming private garden in Droitwich next weekend as part of the National Gardens Scheme.

New House Farm in Elmbridge Lane, Elmbridge, will be open to the public on Saturday, September 13 and Sunday, September 14.

The garden surrounds a red brick house with a number of rare trees and shrubs under-planted with unusual bulbs and herbaceous plants.

It also features an ornamental ‘perry wheel’ vegetable garden, a water garden, a dry garden, and a rose garden, as well as a potager and greenhouse.

Visitors will be able to see the new plant nursery as well as topiary and tropical plants with exotic plants for sun and shade.

New House Farm will be open from 2-4.30pm with entry charged at £4. There will also be refreshments and plants for sale.
