THERE was more good news for the students of Droitwich Spa High Sschool this morning.
Following last week’s A-level results, the GCSE candidates have also performed very well.
The standard national measure of success is the number of candidates who achieve at least five results at grades A*-C.
This year 64 per cent of the school's students achieved this, with 64 per cent achieving at least a C in maths and 62 per cent in English. #
One student in 10 achieved A or A*in at least eight subjects as well as performing strongly in AS English Literature and AS Critical Thinking.
Headteacher Natalie Waters said: "We should also remember that success comes in different forms. Within our 260 candidates there are very many individual achievements. As I study the results I am delighted to see that so many of their efforts have been rewarded."
