CHILDREN at Chawson First School found the perfect way to finish off their topic of ‘space’ before the summer holidays with an inflatable planetarium.
The youngsters had raised £300 for school activities as part of their enterprise work, and decided to put it toward something to make learning more fun.
The planetarium was supplied by the company Discovery Dome, providing a 360 degree display and a film for the pupils.
Trudi Purser, who works at the school, said: “It was a brilliant way to end the year and very informative as well. It was great because it was the children’s level. It just brought it to life for them. It was a really really good way of spending the money.”
