MEMBERS of the Droitwich branch of the RSPCA took part in the charity’s Worcester and Mid-Worcestershire Novelty Dog Show recently at what is set to become the new branch rescue and rehoming centre in Broomhall.

Many of the competitors had been rehomed by the RSPCA themselves, and returned to take home trophies.

The building is well underway for the new centre with the old Alcot Barn already demolished and the car park completed. Visitors to the show were given the chance to buy a brick for the new animal centre, and more than 100 bricks were purchased, to go toward the 15,600 needed to build 20 kennels, 20 cat pens, 12 rabbit pods, veterinary room, and other spaces at the site.

If anyone would like to ‘buy a brick’ for the new centre at £3 per brick, they can find out more at rspca-worcester.co.uk/ or by calling 01886 822083.
